Would you take advice from these people?

Would you take advice from these people?
Still, many have written self-help and how-to books (browse some top sellers). None of them will likely ever come close to rivaling the highest-grossing advice book of all time. But there's clearly a market for them, even if they leave us scratching our heads.
Steve Harvey
It's hard to take relationship advice from anyone who's been married three times. Add the recent accusations from an ex-wife all over the Internet, and it's hard to take Steve Harvey's two books seriously. He recently made a dramatic move to clear his name.
Jessica Simpson
It seems like it would be bad luck to use her book to plan your special day. Especially seeing how things ended up for her and her man. Sure, she's found someone new, but will it last this time?

Kirstie Alley
If you struggle with a problem, it's not a great idea to give people advice about how to deal with it until you yourself have actually done so. Written before a big setback and her appearance on a famous talk show, her book doled out advice, but she sure didn't follow it.
Tila Tequila
Apparently if you're named after a liquor (what's her real name?), you swing both ways and you have a moderately successful reality show, you get to write a book about how to be successful in love and life. Huh?
Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino
According to this guy, all you need to do to attract a mate is live the "GTL lifestyle." (What's that?) It does not bode well for humanity at large if young men buy this book for advice. Luckily, the sales figures are promising.
Paris Hilton
In her book, Paris seeks to advise young girls how to best unleash their inner tiara-wearing heiress. Hopefully that advice doesn't include making a revealing intimate tape and getting arrested for this. Smile, girls!

Britney Spears
We're not sure who would want to take this diva's advice about reaching for their dreams, unless those dreams included getting into trouble with the law, breaking down and blowing a TV "comeback."
Jennifer Love Hewitt
Unless you've been in a successful marriage or relationship for more than three years, why would anyone want to take advice from you? That didn't stop this former TV clairvoyant from offering advice based on experiences with her famous exes.
Spencer Pratt & Heidi Montag
We suppose if you want to be famous, why not learn from these two walking publicity stunts? It seems they'll do anything to get people talking, even storm off a television show or pretend to divorce.

NeNe Leakes
Here's another person who's taken her 15 minutes of reality TV fame and decided she can advise the public at large. Apparently NeNe learned a lesson or two from a job in her past and the art of denying scandalous rumors.

Jenni 'JWoww' Farley
This "Jersey Shore" lady has dating advice for the masses. So if you want a Guido (what's that?) of your very own, and to be just like JWoww, right down to the barroom brawls, this book should tell you all you need to know.

Kelly Osbourne
This book for teens preaches that it's OK to make mistakes, but do you want your teens thinking that problems like Kelly's are simply mistakes?
Kim, Khloe & Kourtney Kardashian
Most of the advice here is about beauty and style. Consider whether you want advice from these celebutante girls, whose claims to fame include major assets, a pro athlete husband and a hard-partying jerk of a boyfriend, respectively.

Jon & Kate Gosselin
Written before their tabloid-perfect breakup, this book on parenting and relationships comes from a man with a bad habit and a woman who got voted off a popular TV show.

Joan Rivers
We guess if you have a goal to perfect your body through plastic surgery, a woman who is made out of a lot of plastic seems a natural choice for advice. Her life has been far from perfect, though.
Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen
They say there's something to winning friends and influencing people. (Who said that?) These sisters want to share who helped make them successful. Will their advice help you? Only if you can forget about Mary-Kate's battle with an eating disorder and Ashley's trouble of her own.
